Have Questions?
FAQs
Below are some of the most asked questions by first time guests & those new to New Site
Where do I park?
If you enter our Main Upper Parking lot you will find special designated parking spots for Guests, Preschool Families, & Senior Adults.
What should I wear?
New Site Church has what is considered a Casual Dress Code. We are a group of Christ believers from many walks of life. When you come through the doors you will see everything from jeans & t-shirts to dresses & dress pants.
What is there for my kids?
We have classes & programs for children, teens, & young adults!
On Sunday Mornings we have:
- Children’s Classes for birth – 5th grade @ 9:30 & 11:00 am
- Youth Classes for 6th – 12th grade @ 9:30 am
- College & Career Class for 18 – 22 year olds @ 9:30 am
- Young Singles Class for 22-30 year olds @ 11:00 am
Come by The Welcome Center in the Main Lobby and we can help guide you and your kids where they want to go.
Where are the bathrooms?
The most important question of all!
Our main set of restrooms are located just down the hall from our Main Lobby area. You will see clear signage to direct you or just ask anyone with a name badge.
We have Men’s, Women’s & 2 individual family restrooms for your convenience.
Our restrooms are equipped with changing stations.
Where do I go?
Once you have parked, you can enter through our Main Doors off of the Main Upper Parking lot. Our Main Doors are the double set of glass doors underneath the large drive through portico.
Greeters with designated name badges will be at the door to welcome you and answer any questions you have.
Once you enter the building you will find yourself in our Main Lobby area. To the right are the doors to enter our Worship Center for services. To the left is our Welcome Center. At our Welcome Center you will find lots of information about the different classes & ministries we have and a volunteer that can answer any questions or help guide you where you would like to go.
What is your service like?
Our 2 Sunday Morning services are identical.
When you come to find a seat you will notice background music playing & announcements on the screen. We have a 5 minute countdown on the screen that helps prepare everyone for the beginning of service.
After the countdown ends our Praise Team will lead everyone in a few songs. Our Praise Team is a full band with several singers and our worship songs are a mix of contemporary modern worship songs and hymns. All words are projected onto our 2 large screens.
After 2 or 3 songs one of our Pastors will come to the stage with a Biblical message for everyone. We have an outline that you can follow along on the back of our bulletins during sermon. Sermon points & Bible verses are projected onto the screens for your convenience.
The Pastor will end his message with a final point or question and will give a time for everyone to either respond in prayer at their seat or will give the option to come to the front and pray. Everyone will be encouraged to fill out a Communication Card that is found in the back of the seat in front of you with your name & anything you would like to share with us that our Prayer Team can pray for this week.
The service will end with church-wide announcements from a Pastor and then everyone will be dismissed.
Am I going to be acknowledged?
Our designated Greeters will say good morning to you as you enter the doors to the building or to the Worship Center.
We would love for you to come by The Welcome Center and let us know if you’re a First Time Guest or even just new to New Site! We promise you will not be singled out, made to stand up in service, or brought to the front of the room. We just want to be sure we have a chance to get to know you.
